Brief Profile

Dr. Ujwal Yeole is a highly qualified and experienced Neurosurgeon with over a decade of dedicated service in the field of neurosurgery. He specializes in treating a wide spectrum of neurological conditions, including neuro-oncology, peripheral nerve disorders, vascular disorders, spinal pathologies, pediatric neurosurgery, neuro-trauma, and skull base neuroendoscopic procedures. Over the years, Dr. Yeole has successfully treated more than 1,800 patients post-qualification, combining surgical excellence with compassionate patient care.

An alumnus of the prestigious National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru, Dr. Yeole completed his M.Ch. in Neurosurgery with distinction in 2018. He continued to refine his expertise at NIMHANS as Chief Resident until June 2019, where he mentored over 30 neurosurgery trainees and played a key role in managing OPDs, ICUs, and emergency units.

In 2019, Dr. Yeole served as Associate Consultant in Neurosurgery at P.D. Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai. Driven by his strong interest in neuro-oncology, he pursued a Clinical and Research Fellowship in Surgical Neuro-Oncology at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, in 2020, further advancing his skills in the management of complex brain and spine tumors.

In his pursuit of surgical excellence, Dr. Ujwal Yeole completed a Fellowship in Peripheral Nerve Surgery at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 2022, further enhancing his expertise in complex nerve repair and microsurgical techniques.

He has held senior positions at several leading hospitals, including serving as Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon at Fortis Hospitals, Mumbai (2021–2023), and Jupiter Hospital, Thane (September 2023 – April 2025). He is currently associated with KIMS Hospital, Thane, since May 2025. In addition, he remains committed to social outreach by providing pro bono neurosurgical care across the Konkan, Vidarbha, and Dhule regions.

Dr. Yeole is also an accomplished academician with 25 publications, 2 book chapters, over 145 citations, and an h-index of 7. His contributions to national and international neurosurgical forums are widely recognized, including invited lectures at the Walter Dandy Neurosurgical Society Meet, Nepal (2019) and the GERSAM 2025 Meet, Germany (2025).

In 2020, Dr. Yeole was selected as one of only three neurosurgeons globally for the prestigious Leksell Radiosurgery Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), USA — awarded by the Leksell Gamma Knife Radiosurgery Society. This honor underscores his expertise in Gamma Knife Radiosurgery (GKRS), a cutting-edge, non-invasive, single-day treatment modality for brain tumors.
